Michele Simonato

Michele is an entrepreneur and investor with over 20 years of experience in investing and building companies.

Currently, Michele is the Founder and CIO at Beyond Capital, a boutique investment firm that merges the stability of Real Estate with the explosive potential of Technology through innovative investment strategies. Since its inception in 2016, the firm has invested in over 100 properties and more than 20 ventures, achieving a certified average yearly ROI of 38.2%.

Michele is also a Co-founder at Empatica, an AI and medical devices company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Milan, Italy. Pioneering digital biomarker development for over a decade, including the first FDA-cleared digital biomarker in neurology, Empatica is dedicated to providing the largest selection of clinically-validated and research-grade digital biomarkers in the world. In numbers: 100,000+ devices deployed, 3,000+ institutional clients in 40+ countries.

Along with investing and entrepreneurial activity, Michele is an active member of YPO and Tiger21. He has served as a Professor at IED (European Institute of Design), coordinator of the Silicon Valley Tour for the Italian Ministry of Education, and contributor for TEDx and Wired Italy.

Michele graduated in Law and Economics summa cum laude. During his coursework, he was selected to study at the Collegio di Milano Excellence College and attended the Leading Scholars' Program at ASERI (Alta Scuola di Economia e Relazioni Internazionali - Post Graduate School of Economics and International Relations) in 2006, the Harvard ManageMentor Program in 2008, and the MIT executive program in AI, XR and digital business in 2024.
